East Central Railway (ECR) has invited applications for the Recruitment under Scouts & Guide Quota for the year 2013-14. Other details are given below:

Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18-30 years for Group C Posts & 18-33 years for Group D Posts as on 01-01-2014. Upper age limit relaxation of 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for Physically Challenged Persons.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and its equivalent, A President ‘s Scout/Guide Ranger/Rover, an active member of Scouts Organization for at least 03 years in the recent past and should continue to be active, attended at least one event at National Level and one or two events at State Level.
Examination Fee: Pay Rs. 40/- as examination fees. Fee can be paid in the form of IPO in favour of “FA & CAO, East Central Railway” & payable at Hajipur. Female/SC / ST, PWD, Minorities and Ex-Serviceman are exempted from Examination Fee.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Scout & Guide Qualification over and above the minimum prescribed eligibility condition and Personality Test/ Interview.
How to Apply: Download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach 02 photographs, IPO, super scribe “Application against Scouts & Guide Quota”, Employment Notice No. & Community on the top of the envelope and send along with relevant documents in support of age, Educational Qualification and participation certificate in scouting activities for their eligibility attested by Gazette officer to the respective address as mentioned in the notification.
