Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued notification for the recruitment of 291 Assistant Civil Surgeon posts for Backlog Posts .Other details are given below:

1. Scheduled Caste: 97 Posts
2. Scheduled Tribes: 84 Posts
3. Extremely Backward Classes: 110 Posts
Age Limit: Not exceed 42 years for SC/ST category and Extremely Backward Classes as on 31-12-2012.
Educational Qualification: M.B.B.S Degree from recognized university and should be permanently registered under the Bihar and Odisha Medical Act and should be registered at Medical Council of India (MCI) and should have undergone 12 months internship from registered Hospital /Institute.
Selection Process: Written test and interview.
Application Fee:
1. SC/ST Candidates of Bihar State need to pay Rs. 125 + bank charges.
2. Extremely Backward class candidates would be required to pay Rs. 350 + Bank charges.
How to Apply: Send application in the prescribed format available in the website, affix self attested photograph, enclose necessary documentary proofs in support of age, caste, educational qualification certificates, copy of challan and two self addressed envelopes with 25-25 stamped by super scribing the top of the envelope with the name of the post applying for and should reach to The Controller of Examination, Bihar Public Service Commission, 15 Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (Bely Road), Patna-800001 by speed post/registered post .
